StORytime. Every day. Everywhere.

Families do the most to help kids learn how to read. As early as age three there is a profound gap between the number of words that children from one family to the next know.

That’s what stORytime Oregon is all about.

StORytime Oregon empowers parents and families, and challenges communities across Oregon to come together to put children on a path to lifelong success. JCLI is proud to participate in StORytime Oregon.

Thanks to a special grant from Charles Seagraves and the Four Way Community Foundation, the library is able to join the statewide initiative to build awareness about helping young Oregonians get on track to love reading by third grade.
