Families are invited to the children’s library for the return of the First Steps early literacy program on Fridays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Grants Pass branch.
This FREE weekly lap-sit storytime session focuses on what new parents can do to help young children become aware and comfortable with books and language. Activities combine story time, nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs, and dancing with learning and fun.
First Steps will be held every Friday during the 8-week session from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This program is designed for ages 12 to 24 months and their parents. Participation is limited to eight parents and their child. Older children in the same family are welcome to attend also.
Pre-registration is required and is on a first come, first served basis. There are still spots available for the winter session which began on October 28. To sign up, click here, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 541-476-0571 x107.
