How to use library e-books

Upcoming workshop to demonstrate e-book downloading for all levels

Community members are invited to learn how to download free e-books and audiobooks through the library’s website on Wednesday, January 18 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. at the E-book Workshop offered by the Grants Pass branch.

As a public service, the library is offering a free e-book workshop to demonstrate how to download e-books and audiobooks using e-readers, smartphones, and other digital devices. The upcoming workshop will cover basics on how to download electronic materials from the library’s website and other helpful hints.

Community members can also call the library at 541-476-0571 to set up an appointment to receive one-on-one help with specific questions. Registration for the workshops is not required, but seating is limited.

The e-book collection, called Library2Go, is part of the Oregon Digital Library Consortium and is paid for annually by the Josephine County Library Foundation.

For more information and to reserve a seat in advance, contact the library at 541-476-0571 or info@josephinelibrary.org.
