Science Works visits the library

Mission Impossible Makerspace

The Mini Mission Impossible Makerspace will visit the children’s library at each of the four branches during the 2017 Summer Reading Program. This program teaches children about gravity, resistance, and friction through fun, hand-on activities.

Families are invited to a Science Works Hands-On Museum program where participants will have the opportunity to design marble mazes and construct mini skyscrapers and rockets at their nearest library branch in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek. Registration is not required.

Grants Pass: Wednesday, August 2 from 11:00a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Wolf Creek: Wednesday, August 2 from 2:30–4:00 p.m.

Illinois Valley: Saturday, August 5 from 11:00a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Williams: Saturday, August 5 from 2:30–4:00 p.m.
