Sensational Storytime winter session begins January 9

Library partnership offer inclusive sensory storytime

Josephine Community Library District (JCLD) has partnered with the SOESD Gilbert Creek Child Development Center to offer a FREE winter session of Sensational Storytime for 2- to 4-year-olds on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon in the children’s library at the Grants Pass branch, 200 NW C Street.

Sensational Storytime emphasizes parent and child interaction through stories, music, movement, and creative activities. Participating children have a chance to talk, sing, and play while reading books. This inclusive and active group is limited to 8–10 children and will last over a 10-week session with storytimes every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon beginning January 9.

Pre-registration is required and there are still several spots open for the winter session.  Parents and/or caregivers must attend with children. To pre-register or for more information, please contact Early Literacy Mentor Danielle McCrea at 541-956-2059 x4739 or danielle_mccrea@soesd.k12.or.us.
