Word Wise: Tips for keeping your child excited about reading

Encourage reading with the promise of a movie. Read the book, then watch the movie — this is a great way to motivate reluctant readers and bookworms alike. Compare similarities and differences between the two. This sort of analysis pushes kids to think critically in a fun way.

Because a reader today is a learner for a lifetime.
