Register for the 2022 Summer Reading Program

To join the free Summer Reading Program, track reading accomplishments, and collect virtual raffle tickets, participants can register a Beanstack app account or login to their existing account if they have participated in past library reading challenges. For mobile devices, the Beanstack app is also available for free.

Weekly activities and coloring pages

Each week, discover new camp coloring pages, crafts, and other printable activities for all ages. Share your creations with us by posting photos and tagging @JosephineCommunityLibrary on Facebook or Instagram.

Week 8 in-person "craftivities"

Drop-in to your preferred branch on any open day between 1–4 pm for weekly “craftivities.” Each week during the Summer Reading Program, children and teens will get everything they need for a themed DIY craft or activity.

This week, children and teens can make their own recipe cards with some of their favorite meals.

Food Hero

Food Hero provides healthy recipes, activities for kids, gardening tips, and food budgeting resources. All resources are available in English and Spanish. Try recipes, explore videos, and do food-related activities from around the world through Cultural Toolkits.

Children, teens, and their families will have fun clicking on items all around this interactive virtual room. Explore and discover new items, resources, and videos themed around the Summer Reading Program.
