Register for the 2022 Summer Reading Program

To join the free Summer Reading Program, track reading accomplishments, and collect virtual raffle tickets, participants can register a Beanstack app account or login to their existing account if they have participated in past library reading challenges. For mobile devices, the Beanstack app is also available for free.

The Traveling Crew interactive performance

“The Traveling Crew” led by local performing artists Bobbi Kidder and Ed Gangner will present an interactive program that includes story, music, and movement for children and their families at the Grants Pass and Illinois Valley library branches.

Registration is not required and a library card is not necessary to participate.

Weekly activities and coloring pages

Each week, discover new camp coloring pages, crafts, and other printable activities for all ages. Share your creations with us by posting photos and tagging @JosephineCommunityLibrary on Facebook or Instagram.

Week 1 in-person "craftivities"

Drop-in to your preferred branch on any open day between 1–4 pm for weekly “craftivities.” Each week during the Summer Reading Program, children and teens will get everything they need for a themed DIY craft or activity.

Week 1“craftivities” include “Unmask Your Inner Superhero” for children and “Who? What? Where? Charades” for teens.

Virtual room

Children, teens, and their families will have fun clicking on items all around this interactive virtual room. Explore and discover new items, resources, and videos themed around the Summer Reading Program.
