Virtual Think & Drink on Safety, Justice, and Policing
Join us July 21 for a live conversation with Nkenge Harmon Johnson and Samuel Sinyangwe.

Questions of safety and justice—what they mean for our communities and how they can be achieved—are central to today’s debates over how to reform, restructure, or replace policing systems in the US. On July 21, join us for a live conversation on safety, justice, and policing with Nkenge Harmon Johnson, president and CEO of Urban League of Portland, and activist and data scientist Samuel Sinyangwe, cocreator of Police Scorecard and Mapping Police Violence, moderated by Omar El Akkad.

This conversation will be broadcast live on YouTube on Tuesday, July 21 at 5 pm. A 30-minute reflective discussion will follow the program at 6:00 p.m. Registration is required to join this discussion, which will take place via Zoom. Read more about the program and register.
