Join us for a hands-on workshop where children and tweens (ages 7–12) can learn to draw amazing ocean creatures with a cartoon twist. Award-winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski will guide participants virtually as they create playful sea animals like sharks, dolphins, seahorses, and more.

This program is offered at no charge and open to the public. A library card is not needed to participate. Space is limited.

Cartooning Under the Sea is part of the 2025 Summer Reading Program. The 2025 theme is “Level Up at Your Library,” sponsored by Evergreen Federal Bank, Josephine Community Library Foundation, Oregon Pacific Financial Advisors, and the State Library of Oregon.
