dio de los muertos

What is Día de los Muertos? El Día de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) is a holiday rooted in the indigenous traditions of Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica (Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica). Diá de los Muertos as observed today is a combination of native indigenous and Catholic tradition that celebrates the circle of life in which death plays a part and is not to be feared.

Celebrate with craft kits made for kids and teens sponsored by the Ready to Read grant! Kits include delicious recipes, fun crafts, and an assortment of other goodies. Craft kits are available beginning Friday, October 29 at all branches while supplies last, no registration required.
