Everyday Civics: The Fight to Save the Town

November 4, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

fight to save the town

Join us for a virtual lunch-and-learn reflective conversation with author Michelle Wilde Anderson about her book The Fight to Save the Town, which features Josephine County’s struggle to fund its government. In this fishbowl virtual program, community volunteers, leaders, and business owners will join Michelle to consider how her book challenges their perspectives of Josephine County and how we can rebuild trust in local government. Audience members are invited to listen to the conversation and share their questions through the virtual chat.

This book is available for checkout with your library card or for purchase at Oregon Books & Games.  A library card is not needed to participate.

This is a virtual program. Use the following Zoom link to watch the conversation: us02web.zoom.us/j/81859440789.
