Join us for a virtual series this November celebrating Oregon Authors. During each session, enjoy excerpts from the published works of authors including Jessica Mehta, Nancy Lane, Fonda Lee, and Terence Emmons. Learn about their writing processes and publication journeys.

This meetup we meet author Nancy Lane. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nancy graduated from UCLA and now lives in Medford, Oregon with her husband, Don, and their dog, Robin. After years of industry-related writing, Nancy decided to pursue creative writing, eventually landing on short stories as the most immediate and exciting way to build worlds, create engaging characters, and promote positive themes. In 2020, Open Books Publishing released her collection of 16 short stories, Pretty Chrysanthemum and Other Stories.

This program is open to teens and adults. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, email info@josephinelibrary.org or call 541-476-0571.
