2022 Summer Reading Program
JUNE 17–AUGUST 13 Read and explore beyond the beaten path through the public library’s Summer Reading Program! Storybook Walk: “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”
The library has partnered with downtown Grants Pass and Cave Junction businesses for a special summer Storybook Walk during the month of July featuring William Wordsworth’s whimsical poem, “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud.” The pages are displayed in the windows of local businesses. The first “page” in “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” is located at Travel Grants Pass Welcome Center, 198 SW 6th Street and Cave Junction City Hall, 222 Lister Street. Families are invited to visit the Williams branch in person for Williams Weekly Storytime from 11 am–12 pm on Fridays. Enjoy themed stories and crafts in a safe and fun environment.

Each week the library comes alive with furry friends waiting to hear a good book. Stop by the children's library at the Grants Pass branch every Tuesday from 3–4 pm for K9 Reading Buddies. During this program, trained therapy dogs provide a non-intimidating environment for children to learn to read out loud. Young readers have the opportunity to explore language and books during this special storytime. Registration is not required.

Touch and explore live insects and witness some of the largest preserved insects on earth with Bugs-R-Us as they visit each library branch this summer.
