JoCo Robo robotics workshops

Build robots and learn computer coding with JoCo Robo this summer in the new makerspace at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Libraries.

5/7/2016. Exploring coding and roboticsChildren ages 11 to 15 can sign up for free robotics and programming workshops designed for all skill levels. The seven summer workshops run through August:

  • 5-7 pm on Tuesday, June 28
  • 10-12 noon on Saturday, July 16
  • 5-7 pm on Tuesday, July 19
  • 10-12 noon on Saturday, August 6
  • 5-7 pm on Tuesday, August 9
  • 10-12 noon on Saturday, August 27
  • 5-7 pm on Tuesday, August 30

The workshop features mBot from Makerblock and Scratch programming and coding, great for first-time builders as well as more advanced robotics students. Participants can earn prizes for completing multiple challenges.
