The Josephine County Board of Library Trustees is an advisory board appointed by Josephine County Board of County Commissioners. The board’s purpose is to advise the commissioners on issues related to the Josephine County Library Trust Fund, which is made up of two trusts: the Kaye Jean Turner Trust and the George R. Borders Memorial Fund.
The Kaye Jean Turner Trust may be used to purchase library materials related to art history and art appreciation. No more than one-third of the principal may be expended annually, and the remaining balance is to accumulate interest and be added to the principal for future use.
The principal of the George R. Borders Memorial Fund is to remain unspent, while the interest may be used for projects to benefit the Grants Pass main branch.
The trustees meet quarterly. Click for more information.
