Children’s Advocacy Center of Josephine County

The Children’s Advocacy Center is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides high-quality, trauma-informed care so abused children can heal and thrive. Established in 1989 in response to a community need for a coordinated systems approach to serving child victims of crime, the CAC is the sole provider of forensic interviews, advocacy, medical exams, and specialized therapy services in the county. In a safe, child-centered environment, children are supported by trained professionals as they share their experiences, receive needed medical and mental health care, and begin their path toward healing.

We envision a world in which every child can be happy, healthy, and safe. Our people are passionate about ending the cycle of child abuse and neglect by supporting children as they find their voice.
