Super Storytime

VIRTUAL STORIES AND DIY ACTIVITIES

Elementary-age children are invited to join us for virtual Super Storytime every month — the theme for May is Reading Colors Your World. Stay tuned after storytime for recommended reading that fits this month’s theme.

Accompanying craft/activity kits are available for pick-up while supplies last at all four branches during curbside service on Fridays and Saturdays from 12–4 pm.

Check back at the beginning of every month for new virtual story.

Free storytime prop kits and early literacy tips

Parents and caregivers of children ages birth to five are invited to learn how to give a great storytime from home during the How to Sprout a Reader program. The next virtual meet-up is from 10:30–11 a.m. on Thursday, May 20. Children are welcome to attend the meet-up with their parent or caregiver and there will be an opportunity for participants to meet and interact virtually.

Storytime prop kits are available for pick-up during curbside service. Prop kits include silk scarves, tambourines, wrist bells, and more! To reserve a storytime prop kit and for more information, email info@josephinelibrary.org or call 541-476-0571.
