Programs/events

Connect with other teens, share your ideas with the library, and gain valuable leadership experience as a VolunTEEN.

VolunTEEN Program

A “VolunTEEN” is a teen between 13–17 years old who volunteers to help with the daily activities in the children’s library and other areas of the library. VolunTEENs make library services better, help create a friendly environment, interact with people of all ages, and work with other volunteers and staff. Those who attend the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meet-up once a month can vote on teen programs and displays, share ideas, and help plan the library’s signature event — Teen Bad Artists Club!
