Mission

The Josephine County Food Bank responds to the root causes of hunger and supports our community by striving to nourish, restore dignity, provide health, and champion community. Our mission is to lead the effort to eliminate hunger by empowering our community…because no one should be hungry!

Programs

Emergency Food, Food Recovery Program, Mobile Pantries, Raptor Creek Farm, Community Garden, Nutrition Education, Adult and Youth Education.

Accessibility
If you are home-bound or otherwise unable to pick up food for yourself, please fill out the Authorized Representative Form (English, Español) and send it with the person picking up food for you. Some pantries serve specific ZIP codes or areas—check with the pantry for their requirements. If you do not have a permanent address, you can still receive food.
General

You may qualify if you:
Meet USDA 2024 income guidelines or participate in the following:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- National School Lunch Program (Free & Reduced Lunch)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

What to Bring:
- No ID required
- No proof of income, address, or citizenship required
- Provide: name, address, household size

Visits:
-No overall visit limit
-Some partner pantries may limit to once per month (check with site)

What You Receive:
- Fresh produce, protein, dairy, shelf-stable foods
- 3–5 days of food per visit
- Items vary monthly
