Job opening: Teen Services Coordinator

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of teens? Join our team as the Teen Services Coordinator at the Grants Pass Library! In this exciting, part-time role, you’ll be at the heart of creating a fun, supportive, and safe space for teens. You’ll lead programs that spark creativity, foster leadership through the Teen Advisory Board, and provide academic support with one-on-one homework help. You’ll also collaborate with community partners and volunteers to bring innovative ideas to life. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and love working with teens, this role is for you! Bring your energy, creativity, and dedication to help build a vibrant community that empowers teens to succeed. You’ll be working generally during afternoon and evening hours, and on Saturdays, total 20 hours a week.

What We Offer:
Starting Pay: $19.48–$21.50 per hour, with growth opportunities up to $25.41 per hour.
Benefits Package: Valued at $9,000 for part-time employees, including life and disability insurance, retirement, TeleDoc service, generous starting vacation, 12 holidays, education assistance, and professional development
Additional Salary: Librarians with an MLIS from an ALA-accredited library school automatically receive an additional $1.00 per hour.

As a Library Assistant, you’ll support daily operations and be the first point of contact for patrons, helping them find materials, answering questions, and assisting with technology needs. No prior library experience? No problem — we’ll provide the training you need to succeed. If you’re detail-oriented, a team player, and eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Enjoy a work environment where no two days are the same, working generally during afternoon and evening hours, and on Saturdays, total 20 hours a week.

Starting Pay: $15.89–$18.50 per hour, with growth opportunities up to $23.34 per hour.
