All Together: Stories and Songs

Library offers in-person outdoor program for families

Josephine Community Library invites the community to a special in-person Summer Reading Program celebration with Create~Play~Heal called “All Together: Stories and Songs” on Saturday, August 14 at the Grants Pass and Illinois Valley branches.

“All Together: Stories and Songs marks our first in-person youth event since the pandemic began,” said Youth Services Librarian Alyssa Donoho. “We’re excited to offer this opportunity for families to come together and experience familiar stories in a new way.”

Children and their families in the audience will have a chance to participate as the actors perform short scenes from popular stories.

This program will be held outdoors on the lawn — participants are encouraged to bring blankets or towels to sit on. Light refreshments will be provided.

Create~Play~Heal will perform at library branches in Grants Pass and Illinois Valley. Registration is not required to attend.

  • Grants Pass branch at 10 am
  • Illinois Valley branch at 1 pm
