Community members are invited to apply for a three-year term
Josephine Community Library District (JCLD) is seeking two community members to fill three-year Budget Committee seats by January 11, 2019.
Residents who reside in the library district are eligible to apply for the two positions. Applications are due by January 11, 2019 by 12:00pm PST. The board of directors will make the appointments at the January 17, 2019 board meeting.
According to Oregon local budget law, the JCLD Budget Committee is to be made up of the five board members and five more appointed registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the library district. The appointed members may not be officers, agents, or employees of the district. All members of the Budget Committee have equal authority.
