PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND GRANTS PASS CITY COUNCIL HEARING NOTICE

Provide your input on the draft 2020-2024 NEW 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Year 1 Annual Action Plan for use of CDBG grant funds!

In April, the City of Grants Pass sought community input to help identify the most important needs and priorities for use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

This information was used to help develop the draft 2020-2024 NEW 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Year 1 Annual Action Plan.  The City is now seeking your input on these plans.

The City of Grants Pass would like to hear from you.  Please provide your input through one or more of the following:

Submit written comments about the draft 2020-2024 NEW 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Year 1 Annual Action Plan.

 

The draft documents will be available and written comments regarding the plans may be submitted during the comment period.

 

Comments will be reviewed during and at the close of the comment period.  The draft 2020-2024 NEW 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Year 1 Annual Action Plan, together with comments, will be presented to the City Council for their consideration and action at their Public Hearing on August 5, 2020.

 

 

Provide verbal and/or written input about the draft 2020-2024 NEW 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Year 1 Annual Action Plan.

 

Public input will be taken at this hearing.  Written comments may be submitted before the hearing, and written and verbal comments may be provided at the hearing.  Verbal comments are limited to three minutes per person.  If you have extensive comments and would like to speak at the hearing, you may wish to submit written comments and provide a verbal summary.

 

Action is required prior to the August 14 deadline for submittal to HUD.

 

At the start of the public comment period, the draft documents will be available at the following locations:

  • Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Libraries, 200 NW ‘C’ Street in Grants Pass
  • On the City of Grants Pass website
