During the event, community members will have a chance to celebrate the generous contributions to organizations serving Josephine County and hear remarks from Tribal Chairman Carla Keene at 10:30 am.

Last June, Josephine Community Library Foundation purchased the block between 6th and 7th streets and J and K streets for a new library in downtown Grants Pass as part of its support of new and improved facilities for Josephine Community Library and the community. Thanks to library leaders, individual and foundation donors, and grant funders, the community raised $1,925,000 from individual donors and other supporters including Four Way Community Foundation, Echo Fund, the Bennett Fund, Oregon Community Foundation, Oregon Cultural Trust, and Avista Foundation.

The Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians is one of nine federally recognized Indian tribal governments in the State of Oregon. The Cow Creek tribal nation, located in southwestern Oregon, has over 1,800 members who are governed by an elected 11-member council known as the Cow Creek Tribal Board of Directors.
