Everyday Civics: What is a Midterm General Election?

Library hosts policy researcher Charles F. Rund for civics program

Community members are invited to join policy researcher and former president of Charlton Research Company Charles F. Rund to learn about the mechanics of the midterm general election from 5:30–6:30 pm on Thursday, September 15 at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library.

The upcoming November election determines congressional seats and the next two years of policy at the state and national levels. Participants will learn about what the biennial voting cycle called midterm general election is and what it means for them.

Registration is not required, and a library card is not needed to participate.
