The Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library will temporarily close December 21 through January 17 for carpet replacement. During this time, due dates and library card expiration dates are extended and all fees are waived. The book drop will be closed, so patrons are asked to keep their checked-out items until reopening on January 18.
“We are excited to see the long overdue update to the Grants Pass branch,” said Library Director Kate Lasky. “We apologize for any inconvenience to patrons and encourage folks to use the online library and our other branches during this time.”
Funding for this project is provided by Josephine County and the Solid Waste Agency.
Library patrons can use the online library by visiting josephinelibrary.org to check out thousands of e-books and audiobooks, view subject guides on various topics of interest, use language and learning tools, and more.
Patrons are also encouraged to visit one of the branches in Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek while the Grants Pass branch is temporarily unavailable. Phone support will be available during operating hours.
