Library provides Kindergarten-readiness series funded by The Ford Family Foundation
Children ages 3–6 and their parents or caregivers are invited to join the 6-week spring session of the Kindergarten Toolbox program on Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 pm at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library beginning April 28 to promote Kindergarten Readiness.
During this six-week session, families will receive a toolbox with school supplies and other materials accompanied by demonstrations and practice sessions designed for preschoolers. Each week a new book and “tool” will be offered. Tools include letter and number manipulatives, fun activities, tips for parents, and more.
Space is limited and registration is required for the spring session from April 28 through June 2. Participants will meet in the children’s library at the Grants Pass branch, 200 NW C Street, on the following Thursdays for the spring session: April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19, May 26, and June 2. A waitlist is available for the next 6-week session beginning this summer.
