Library offers college prep kits to Josephine County youth

Grant funding from Rotary Club of Grants Pass and Cheney Foundation to provide program

While supplies last, Josephine Community Library is offering free college prep kits to families with youth who are planning for college thanks to grant funding from the Rotary Club of Grants Pass and the Chaney Family Foundation.

“The College Prep Kits are a great resource for students interested in attending college,” said Youth Services Librarian Alyssa Donoho. “The books cover everything from applications, finances, and what to do once you get there. We’ve even included a few helpful items to help you stay organized along the way.”

Kits includes books, information about financial aid, a planner, and several school supplies. Students will learn how to successfully complete applications, what to know before they go, survive their first year of higher education, and more.
