The community is invited to the third in a series of six bi-monthly free poetry seminars from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 in the bookstore at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library.
Facilitated by Oregon Poetry Association past-president Lisa Baldwin, participants will learn about well-known poets through readings and style analysis, then write their own poem in the style of the featured poet. Canadian poet, novelist, and environmental activist Margaret Atwood will be the focus of the next seminar in the “Something About Poetry” series.
All seminars in the “Something About Poetry” series will be held in the bookstore at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library. To register and for more information, contact Lisa Baldwin at 541-476-6671 or leb.97527@gmail.com or contact the library at 541-476-0571 or info@josephinelibrary.org.
