Oregon Poetry Association to host last poetry workshop of the year

Library partnership brings series of poetry workshops to Grants Pass

In the spirit of all things traditional, the community is invited to explore time-honored forms of poetry at “Poetry Alive: Tradition! Tradition!” from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 22 in the bookstore at the Grants Pass branch.
“Tradition! Tradition!” is the last in a series of four quarterly poetry workshops titled “Poetry Alive” hosted by the library in partnership with the Oregon Poetry Association (OPA) and the Applegate Poets.
At this workshop facilitated by the OPA, participants will look at family stories and origins as inspiration to learn how to write a sestina, sonnet, haiku, or pantoum.
