The community is invited to the second in a series of six bi-monthly free poetry seminars from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April13 in the bookstore at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library.
Facilitated by Oregon Poetry Association past-president and Applegate Poet Lisa Baldwin, participants will learn about well-known poets through readings and style analysis, then write their own poem in the style of the featured poet. Native American poet, musician, and author Joy Harjo will be the focus of the next seminar in the “Something About Poetry” series.
This program is made possible through a grant from the Josephine County Cultural Coalition.
