Library offers weekly tech help at all branches

Learn to download e-books, format a resume, edit a photo, and more

The library is now offering a range of technology-related assistance every Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all four branches of Josephine Community Library in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek.
During Friday Tech Time, library staff and volunteers are ready to help answer technology questions and assist with:

  • Downloading e-books.
  • Navigating the Internet.
  • Formatting a resume.
  • Email set-up.
  • Editing a photo.
  • Facebook and other social media platforms
  • …and more.

Library staff and volunteers are not authorized to repair or update devices, recommend a specific purchase, or give medical, legal, or business advice.
Patrons can use their own devices or one of the library’s public computers and are encouraged to bring passwords and login information as needed.
A current library card is not required to receive tech help.
Patrons who are not available during Friday Tech Time can make a free one-on-one, hour-long appointment during open hours with a tech coach at any library branch.
