Free loans of hospital medical equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, portable toilets, shower stools, and more. Free Easter egg hunt each Easter with free train rides for kids. Three-day Labor Day Festival with free rides for kids, nightly concerts, daily talent contests, truck races, local vendors, food, baseball tournaments, and model airplane airshow. Free Labor Day Parade. $1,000 scholarships provided for five students of Illinois Valley High School each year. Sponsorship of local youth sports teams.
