Meyer is a grant making foundation that works with and invests in organizations, communities, ideas, and efforts that contribute to a flourishing and equitable Oregon.
Established in 2011, in September of that year, Mid Rogue Foundation was awarded a three-year grant of more than $770,000 through the USDA’s Rural Health Information Technology Network Development (RHITND) Program. These monies were given to the Foundation to help improve health care and support the adoption of Health Information Technology (HIT) in rural health networks. The Foundation was one of only 40 awardees across the country and the only one in the state of Oregon. The Foundation focused on the adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHR), Meaningful Use and the exchange of key clinical health information in Josephine and Curry counties.
The SOESD Migrant Education/ELL Department provides workshops, presentations, coaching, and consultations on the building, district, and regional levels to school districts in Jackson, Josephine and Klamath counties.
MINT is powered by volunteers. We are made up of several nurses, doctors, and others with diverse skill sets, making about 15 of us. We provide weekly park outreach, leading the collaboration of up to 15 other service organizations outreaching right where unhoused individuals live. In addition to the scheduled events, our incredible volunteers can be found pretty much each day in our parks providing medical care, care coordination, advocacy, hospital follow-up, and much more.

NAMI Southern Oregon is a nonprofit affiliate of the National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI), the leading grassroots organization dedicated to providing education, support, and advocacy for people with mental illness, their families, and friends. NAMI is a volunteer-run organization that offers help and hope for recovery. NAMI Southern Oregon serves residents across Southern Oregon with free mental health support, online groups, resources and education.

Narcotics Anonymous offers recovery from the effects of addiction through working a twelve-step program, including regular attendance at group meetings. The group atmosphere provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle.
