Leightman Maxey Foundation
The Leightman Maxey Foundation is a private foundation that distributes grants in support of nonprofit organizations whose services are aligned with the mission of the Foundation. Funding priority is given to those organizations serving "at risk" clients. All applications must be submitted electronically, through the Federation's online grant portal. There are two grant application deadlines a year: March 1 and September 1.
Mission
The Leightman Maxey Foundation’s mission is to provide educational experiences related to careers, finance, and nutrition for individuals to encourage and enable them to be self-reliant, productive members of society.
Programs
Eligibility: Non-profit organizations. Grants may be awarded in any of the following three impact areas: Career education, finance education, and nutrition education.
