Storybook Walk

Gather the family to read the beloved Robert Frost poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” in downtown Grants Pass and Cave Junction business windows through the end of December.

A Storybook Walk is an outdoor reading and walking experience of a children’s book with the pages of the book placed in different areas along a walking path.

Families are invited to stroll through downtown on their own time and at their own pace to read the featured story. Each “chapter” directs participants to the next location.

"Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening"

The library has partnered with downtown Grants Pass and Cave Junction businesses for a special winter Storybook Walk through the end of December featuring Robert Frost’s “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.”

The pages are displayed in the windows of local businesses. The first “chapter” in Grants Pass is located at Travel Grants Pass Welcome Center, 198 SW 6th Street. The first “chapter” in Cave Junction is located at Cave Junction City Hall, 222 Lister Street.

A printable version of each map is available.
