Stone Soup Storybook Walk

Stroll through downtown Grants Pass and read the beloved fable, Stone Soup, in business windows through the end of September.

What is a Storybook Walk?

The library has partnered with downtown Grants Pass businesses to launch its first Storybook Walk throughout the month of September featuring the classic fable “Stone Soup.”

A Storybook Walk is an outdoor reading and walking experience of a children’s book with the pages of the book placed in different areas along a walking path. In Grants Pass, the pages are displayed in the windows of local businesses on both sides of 6th Street between “G” street and “I” Street. The first “chapter” is located at The Emporium, 202 SW G Street.

Families are invited to stroll through downtown on their own time and at their own pace to read the featured story. Each “chapter” directs participants to the next location.
