Summer Reading Program

Thank you for another great summer!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 Summer Reading Program — A Journey Awaits: Where books are your passport and imagination is your destination.

This summer, 634 readers logged a total of 245,356 minutes read! An additional 6,000 community members of all ages were reached through programs and partnerships. In addition to regularly scheduled programs, 14 special summer events were held for all ages at all open branches.

Each week, summer reading activities, recommended reading, and opportunities to win prizes appeared in the Sunday edition of the Daily Courier and the Wednesday Country Weekly.
