Strategic direction

Josephine Community Library District uses its 2021-2024 Strategic Direction to guide decisions and to develop the operations plan. The FY 2020-121 Annual Report describes progress against the strategic direction and operations plan. See the sections below for details about both.

Strategic direction

In April 2021, the Josephine Community Library District adopted its three-year strategic plan. In this plan, the board identified its vision, mission, values, reputation, position, imperatives (goals), objectives (measurements), and initiatives (activities). Having achieved much from that time, the board updated its 2021-2024 Strategic Direction. This plan forms the basis for the library’s decisions and operations through 2024.

For information about the previous plan, see the 2017–2020 Library Strategic Plan.

Annual report

The FY 2021-22 Annual Report describes progress against the strategic direction and work plan for the library district’s past year of operation. This includes information about strategic planning, programs and services, people and systems, partnerships and outreach, and facilities.

For information about the previous year, see the FY 2020-21 Annual Report.
