Josephine Community Library facilities reopen to public for limited hours

Patrons may enter the buildings for up to 30 minutes during Grab & Go hours

Josephine Community Library moves forward in its Reopening Plan this week, entering Chapter 5 and offering limited access to patrons at all four branch facilities in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, William, and Wolf Creek.

During Chapter 5, patrons may enter the buildings on Fridays and Saturdays from 1–4 pm during Grab & Go hours. The library will also continue to offer curbside pick-up, computer appointments, and printing service.

During Grab & Go hours, restrooms and seating are unavailable. Special senior Grab & Go hours for patrons age 55+ are offered on Thursdays at the Grants Pass and Illinois Valley branches between 1–4 pm.

The following services are available at all four library branches:

  • Wednesdays: 30-minute computer appointments between 1–4 pm. Registration is required. To register, patrons can contact their preferred branch or email info@josephinelibrary.org.
  • Fridays and Saturdays: Curbside pick-up between noon–4 pm.
  • Fridays and Saturdays: Facilities open to the public between 1–4 pm during Grab & Go hours. Patrons will have the opportunity to browse the library and check out items in person for 30-minute periods. Registration is not required.
  • Book drops are open 24/7

Masks are required to enter library facilities in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek.
