In partnership with United Community Action Network (UCAN), the library is offering community members the opportunity to file their taxes online for free. UCAN VITA volunteers will help participants set up a profile with TaxSlayer software. They will be at the Grants Pass branch from 12–2:30 pm on Wednesdays and 2–5:30 pm on Fridays during the months of February and March.

Appointments are for taxpayers who receive basic documents including W-2, Interest, Dividends, 1099-R, 1099-NEC, or Social Security. Walk-ins seeking forms and other basic information will be accommodated as time allows.
