Kindergarten Toolbox program

Library provides Kindergarten-readiness series funded by The Ford Family Foundation
Children ages 3–6 and their parents or caregivers are invited to join the 6-week spring session of the Kindergarten Toolbox program on Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 pm at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library beginning July 27 to promote Kindergarten Readiness.
During this six-week session, families will receive a toolbox with school supplies and other materials accompanied by demonstrations and practice sessions designed for preschoolers. Each week a new book and “tool” will be offered. Tools include letter and number manipulatives, fun activities, tips for parents, and more.
Space is limited and registration is required for the summer session from July 27 through August 31. Participants will meet in the children’s library at the Grants Pass branch, 200 NW C Street, on the following Thursdays for the summer session: July 27, August 3, August 10, August 17, August 24, and August 31. A waitlist is available for the next 6-week session beginning this summer.
