Storybook Walk | Downtown Grants Pass
July 1st - July 7th
A Storybook Walk is an outdoor reading and walking experience of a children’s book or poem with the “pages” of the book placed in different areas along a walking path. Families are to take a stroll and read the featured story at their own pace. The 2024 Pop-Up Storybook Walk featuring the bilingual story Spanish Tortilla/La Tortilla de Papas by Sandra Siemens and other stories will be located throughout Josephine County in July as part of the Summer Reading Program.
From July 1–7, find the Storybook Walk in downtown business windows. This pop-up is provided in partnership with Visit Grants Pass.
Begin at the Grants Pass Museum of Art and follow the path down G Street and up and down 6th street to read the story. Maps can be picked up at all participating Storybook Walk locations and at the Grants Pass Visitor’s Center temporary location at 164 SE G St, Grants Pass. On Friday, July 5 families can make a free craft upstairs at The Hivve after finishing the Storybook Walk.
