Community members are invited to join Lisa Baldwin and Diana Coogle for a poetry workshop
The community is invited to a free poetry program called “Something About Poetry: A Community of Poets” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 in the Ben Bones meeting room at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library, 200 NW C Street.
Local poet, author, and professor, Diana Coogle, will share a selection of her work and choice bits about her writing process and poetic philosophy. The reading will be followed by a brief Q & A session facilitated by Applegate Poets past-president Lisa Baldwin, then an open mic for community poetry sharing.
Space is limited and registration is required for this in-person program. To register, email info@josephinelibrary.org or call 541-476-0571. To learn more about library programs, visit josephinelibrary.org.
