June 21st @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Back by popular demand, the Bugs-R-Us team brings us Bats this summer. Children and families will have a chance to examine preserved specimens, learn about these flying mammals, and explore the important role they play in our ecosystem. Participants will also learn how to build their own bat house.

Bugs-R-Us is part of the 2024 Summer Reading Program. The 2024 theme is “A Journey Awaits,” sponsored by Evergreen Federal Bank, Josephine Community Library Foundation, and the State Library of Oregon. For more information about events and activities during the Summer Reading Program, click here.

This program is offered at no charge and open to the public. A library card is not needed to participate.
